Ambrose Jusczak
Ambrose Jusczak, 89, Moose Lake, died Monday, July 23, 2018 in Essentia Health St. Mary's Medical Center, Duluth. He was born on March 30, 1929 on the family farm in Split Rock Township homesteaded by his parents and grandparents as direct immigrants from Poland. Their family was a large, hardworking, and close- knit consisting of seven brothers and four sisters. Ambrose married Delores "Scotty" Newbloom on March 26, 1955 at West Side Church in Kettle River, MN.
Ambrose worked from the age of 14 driving milk truck, hauling pulpwood, transportation for Como Oil and for Colonial Pacific with his very first truck. He retired from his life-long (60+ years) trucking career hauling for Kivi Bros. He was an outstanding diesel mechanic and would often overhaul his and his brother's trucks. In recent years, Ambrose even enjoyed helping Randy with container maintenance and riding along for deliveries. He attended and was very involved at West Side Church in Kettle River and later attended Moose Lake Covenant Church in Moose Lake. He loved the Lord and prayed for his friends and family continually. His daily enjoyment came from worshipping along with his favorite gospel music on TV and especially loved times of fellowship with friends and family including a good meal or cup of coffee.
Ambrose was proceeded in death by his wife, Delores "Scotty" in 2015; parents: Frank and Frances (Wotchk) Jusczak; 5 brothers: Chester, Victor, Peter, Frank and Ed; 3 sisters: Gertrude, Regina and baby Lucille.
He will be dearly missed by his two sons; Kelly (Linda) Jusczak and Randy (Ann) Jusczak; Grandchildren, Jordan (Stephanie) Jusczak , Jarrett Jusczak , JC (Lyndsey)Jusczak, Caitlin (Andrew) Miller, Alyssa and Adrianna Jusczak; Great-Grandchildren, Nicholas, Kara, Ailee, Mia and Harper; sister, Florence Hautajarvi and brother, Tony (Linda) Jusczak; Sister-in-Laws Elaine and Barb Jusczak, Joyce "Dolly" Thomsen, Eleanor "Tootie" Dockal, and Joyce Newbloom as well as many friends from Moose Lake Covenant Church, Senior Dining, and Art's Café.
Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Thursday, July 26, 2018 in Evangelical Covenant Church, Moose Lake and continue on Friday, July 27, 2018 from 1 PM until the 2 PM Funeral Service at the church. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Moose Lake.
