Ann "Toots" Theresa Fanum, 72, of Sturgeon Lake, MN passed away peacefully Thursday, January 30, 2025 at Sandstone Health Care. She was born on June 17, 1952, to Lawrence and Jeanne (Letourneau) Perron in Stillwater, MN.

Ann started working right away for 3M in high school through the on-the-job training program and never left. She retired early after working for them for 36 years.

She loved spending time gardening, baking, crafting, and bird watching. Ann enjoyed spending time with family, especially with her two granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Lawrence and Jeanne; and brothers, Jimmy and Larry Perron.

Ann is survived by her sons, Mike (Brenda) and Pete Fanum; granddaughters, Madi and Ellie Fanum; siblings, Ken (Tricia) Perron, Bob (Bonnie) Perron, Kathy Haapala, Laurie Perron, Mary Jo Perron, Denise (DJ) Weitala, Patty (Brian) McLevish, Joe (Margaret) Perron, and John Perron; and many nieces nephew, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers kindly donate to a breast cancer research organization, or donate to a nursing home of your choice in her name.

Service information: Ann requested a Celebration of Life in her honor where we will gather and fondly remember the life she lived. Also, by Ann's request it will be held at her son's business, the Squirrel Cage Bar & Grill, where she enjoyed stopping by to check-in and try the special of the day. It will be held on Saturday March 29th from 2-5pm at 8144 County Hwy 61, Willow River, MN 55795.
