Annette June Anderson, 82, Moose Lake, died peacefully on Monday, July 20, 2026 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on June 6, 1944 in Moose Lake to Harold and Ruth (Lingle) Swanson. Annette grew up in Denham and attended Willow River High School graduating in 1963. On June 8, 1963, Annette married Marlen Anderson in Faith Lutheran Church in Denham. They lived in Windemere Twp. In 1968, Annette began working at General Andrews Tree Nursery in Willow River. She started working in the fields and in 1982 became office manager for 28 years retiring in September of 2009. She was a member of Moose Lake Covenant Church and served as a Sunday School Teacher, a 4-H Leader, Windemere Twp. Clerk, on the Sonshine Closed Board for 15 years, and the Blomskog Cemetery Board. Annette loved being around her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren; gardening flowers, cooking, baking, and was an avid reader. She loved being around people!
Annette is preceded in death by Marlen Anderson in 2015 and her parents: Harold and Ruth Swanson.
She will be lovingly remembered by 5 children: Virginia "Ginger" (Chris) Galewski, Wanda (Jeff) Borchardt, Amy Anderson, Melanie (Bob) Dardis, and Marlen II (Kim) Anderson; 11 grandchildren: Chris (Nicole) Galewski, Jr., Steven (MyLynnda) Galewski, Heather (Stephen) Thyen, Jennifer (Alex) Statz, Travis (Samantha) Borchardt, Nick (Katy) Kenemore, Cassie (Alex) Servais, Alex (Sierra) Kenemore, Paige Johnson, Gannon Johnson, and Skylar (Levi) Johnson; 13 great grandchildren; 7 siblings: Richard (Mary) Swanson, John (Jeanette) Swanson, Mary Kruse, Cheryl Kohmer, Bill Swanson, Bob Swanson, Teresa (Cory) Coughlin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 30, 2026 from 4-7 pm at Moose Lake Covenant Church. Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026 at 11am in Moose Lake Covenant Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Blomskog Cemetery on Friday, July 31, 2026 at 2 pm.
