Arlene Snyder, 80, of Sturgeon Lake, died Sunday April 5, 2009. She was born December 8, 1928, in Moose Lake to Newell C. and Christine C. (Thoen) Anderson. Arlene was a proud member of Hope Lutheran Church, Moose Lake. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, all animals and especially spending time with all of her friends.

Arlene is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas Snyder; 2 brothers, Dale and Luverne Anderson.

Arlene is survived by 2 sons, Bruce Berry of Rockford and Gary (Deb) Fairfield of Winsted; 2 daughters, Sharon (David) Ziegler of Eden Prairie and Debra Fairfield of Tulsa, OK; 4 grandchildren, Kristin Ziegler, Brian Ziegler, Paul Ziegler and Helena Fairfield; 2 brothers, Dewey (Dianne) Anderson of Moose Lake and Clair Anderson of Moose Lake; 3 sisters, Jan Berglund of Solon Springs, WI, Elaine (Dick) Woodruff of New Jersey, Sonja (Dick) Grahn of Spring, TX; sister-in-law, Shirley Anderson; many nieces, nephews and FRIENDS.

Visitation was Monday, April 13, from 10 AM until the 11 AM Service in Hope Lutheran Church, Moose Lake with Pastor Jan Mehlhoff officiating. Interment was in Sunset Memorial Cemetery, Moose Lake.
