Barbara Lynn Holcomb, 69, of Willow River, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2014 at her home. She was born July 12, 1945 in Norfolk, Virginia to Raymond and Evelyn (Nielsen) Watters. Barbara was united in marriage to Maynard Holcomb on June 3, 1965 in St. Paul. Barb worked at Institution Sales in St. Paul as well as being a homemaker for 48 years. She was a Cub Scout Leader, Girl Scout Leader, PTA and Drill Team Leader before she and Maynard moved to Willow River in 1978. Barb continued as a Girl Scout Leader, Cheerleading Advisor as well as foster care and volunteer at the Food Pantry. Barb was very proud of all of her family's accomplishments and always put her family and friends needs first. She will be missed by all.

Barb is preceded in death by her parents; 1 brother, Thomas Watters; great aunt, Margaretta Ellsworth.

Barb is survived by her husband, Maynard Holcomb of Willow River; son, Michael (Linda) Holcomb of Rice Lake, WI; 2 daughters, Dorine (Richard) Groat of Rice Lake, WI and Jessica (Jason) Hensel of Cameron, WI; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brother, Doug Watters of Stillwater; several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Barbara's Life will be held Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 11 AM at the Jessica and Jason Hensel Residence, 1227 24 ½ Street, Cameron, WI, 54822.
