Bernice Adamczak Eckart, age 85, formerly of Willow River, MN, passed away at Stoney River Assisted Living in Ramsey, MN. She was born in Willow River, MN to Rose and Charles Adamczak. She grew up with her brother, Robert, on a small farm and attended Willow River High School. After graduation, she lived and worked in Minneapolis, and that's where she fell in love and married Jack Eckart.

Bernice and Jack loved life. She took up golf (Jack's passion), spent time with friends and family and loved to travel. After a few years they moved to Lake Ozark, MO to be closer to Jack's mother and to enjoy the warmer climate. Bernice received her realtor's license and made many new friends and contacts. She continued to travel to many places and loved cruises.  She enjoyed animals, especially her many dogs and birds (cardinals were her favorite!).

Jack's sudden death weighed heavily on her at age 64. Years later, she moved to an assisted living facility back in Minnesota to be closer to family.

Bernice was preceded in death by her parents: Rose and Charlie Adamczak; her brother: Robert Adamczak; and her step-son: Mark.

She is survived by her sister-in-law: Bena Adamczak and a very large extended family.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be from 10 am until the Prayer Service at 11 am in Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home, Moose Lake on Friday, December 20, 2024.  Father Francis Kabiru will officiate.   Spring Inurnment will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery, Moose Lake.
