Beulah Myrtle Gretsfeld passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at the Augustana Mercy Health Care Center in Moose Lake, MN. She was born on July 18, 1915 in Minot, North Dakota to Chris and Amanda (Birkeland) Haug. They moved to St. Paul in 1922. Most of Beulah's life was spent as a consummate caregiver. They lived in West St. Paul where Henry was a building contractor. In 1942, with a two-year-old son and a 6 week old daughter, Henry had a terrible building accident and was a paraplegic for the next 48 years. Beulah cared for him with her immaculate skills and was able to raise her children as well as care for her disabled husband. They had a wonderful life together with an extended family nearby to help.
