Beverly Lewandowski, 87, of Moose Lake, former resident of Morgan Park, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2014 in Mercy Hospital, Moose Lake. She was born November 5, 1926 in Lake Park to Carl and Mathilda (Danielson) Bloom. Beverly was united in marriage to John E. Lewandowski on September 27, 1947 in Duluth. She enjoyed dancing, gardening, golf league, bowling league and the bridge club at the Morgan Park Community Center. Beverly was also a member of St. Margaret Mary of Duluth.

Beverly is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, John; her parents; 1 grandson, Joey; siblings, Gloria, Marie, Shirley, Audrey and LeRoy.

Beverly is survived by Jan (Gary) Oltmanns of Barnum, Joyce (Lee) Gvesrude of Duluth, John Lewandowski of Duluth, Patty (Ken) Carter of Knife River and Pamela (Todd) Whitehead of Braham; grandchildren, Patrick (Stacy) Oltmanns, Jacquie (Joe) Mohelsky, Kat (Jake) Johnson, Nicole (Stu) Waters, Russ (Jenn) Carter, Ian (LeAnn) Lewandowski, Dan Lewandowski and John (Jessica) Lewandowski; many beloved great grandchildren; sisters, Ruth (Curtis) Harmon and Maxine Nelson; sister-in-law, Joyce Krysiak; several nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday, May 3 from Noon until the 1 PM Memorial Service in Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home, Moose Lake.  Following the Memorial Service a luncheon will be served in Hope Lutheran Church, Moose Lake. The family would like to extend their thanks to all of the care givers who provided Bev loving care as she struggled with dementia.
