Bobbi Jo Zimmerman, 45, Sturgeon Lake, MN, died unexpectedly in her home on Monday, March 14 ^th , 2022. She was born in Forest City, IA on January 27 ^th , 1977.

Bobbi Jo moved to Moose Lake at age 7, attended grade school in Moose Lake, and graduated from high school in 1996. She worked hard her whole life, enjoying numerous jobs including many years at the Sturgeon Lake Little Store and also at Black Bear Casino. In Bobbi Jo's spare time, she enjoyed screen time: watching TV and playing various games on her phone. She had a special place in her heart for the great outdoors, also. Bobbi Jo was known as a day-brightener to people: she could always make a person smile and laugh. She will be remembered as a "walking phonebook", referencing the way she knew everybody and had connections everywhere she went. Bobbi Jo will be deeply missed by her family and a long list of close friends.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Remy Zimmerman.

Her memory will be cherished by her son, Kyle Zimmerman; father, Robert Zimmerman; mother, Rose Carpenter; brother, Zac (Ashley) Zimmerman; and beloved niece and nephews, Devon Zimmerman, Harmonie Remer, and Aden Pahl.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the near future, when the weather is warmer and the flowers are blooming, just like Bobbi Jo would prefer. Please check back for updates.
