Brad “Bubba” Ramberg, 62, of Cromwell, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, July 22, 2026. He was born on February 17, 1964, in Rush City, Minnesota, to Dean and Marlys Ramberg. Brad grew up in Harris, where he attended North Branch High School, graduating in 1982. He continued his education at Anoka Community College before attending Huron University in Huron, South Dakota, where he played college basketball and graduated in 1986. Throughout his career, Brad worked for Harmon Glass in St. Paul, United Glass in Roseville, co-founded The Glass Man in Cromwell in 2002, and retired in 2025 after working for Superior Glass.

Brad lived a life that was defined by love—love for God, his family, his friends, and his community. He had a way of making everyone feel like they belonged. Whether he was cheering from the sidelines, sharing a story, lending a helping hand, or simply offering a warm smile, he made people feel seen and cared for.

He was the kind of husband who knew after just four months that Kathy was the one he wanted to spend his life with, and together they built 34 beautiful years of marriage. He was an incredible father who rarely missed a game, a match, or a moment, always showing up with unwavering support and pride for Jake and Jenna. Becoming “Grandpa” to Sylvia brought him a new kind of joy, and the love he had for her was evident to everyone around him.

Brad’s faith was the foundation of his life. He faithfully served at Moose Lake Covenant Church, sharing God’s love through leadership, Vacation Bible School, and countless conversations that encouraged others. He genuinely loved people, and his gentle spirit, generous heart, and gift for making friends left an imprint on everyone who knew him.

He found joy in life’s simple blessings—fishing, hunting, old Westerns, four-wheeler rides on his property, cheering on the Minnesota Twins, Vikings, and Wild, and his lifelong passion for fast-pitch softball. He coached the Cromwell Girls Fast Pitch team for four years, and his induction into the Minnesota Softball Hall of Fame in 2025 was a fitting honor for someone who poured so much of himself into the game and the young athletes he coached.

More than anything, Brad will be remembered for the way he loved. His kindness, steady presence, quiet strength, unwavering faith, and selfless heart were gifts to everyone fortunate enough to know him. Though his family and friends will miss him beyond words, they carry forward the countless memories, lessons, laughter, and love he gave so freely. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched, the family he cherished, and the faith he shared every day.

Brad is lovingly survived by his wife of 34 years, Kathy; his son, Jake Ramberg; his daughter, Jenna (Spencer) Viita; his cherished granddaughter, Sylvia Viita; his parents, Dean and Marlys Ramberg; his siblings, Greg (Dawn) Ramberg, Beth (Don) Steele, Paul (Deanna) Ramberg, and Heidi (Jim) Sonju; along with many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless friends who knew and loved him as “Bubba.”

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be from 9 am until the 11 am Memorial Service on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Moose Lake Covenant Church.  Lunch will be served following the service.  Private inurnment will be in Harris Covenant Cemetery.
