Bruce A. Calverley

Bruce A. Calverley, 57, Barnum, died unexpectedly on Sunday, August 31, 2014. He was born on December 13, 1956 in Sandstone to John and Borgny Calverley. Bruce grew up in Mahtowa where he attended elementary school and later attended Barnum High School graduating in 1974. He lived in the Cloquet and Barnum area and worked at Potlatch and later Sappi for over 35 years as a machinist. Bruce moved to Moose Lake in 2012. He loved fishing, hunting, camping, snowmobiling, four wheeling, bonfires at the hunting shack, and mostly his kids and family.

He was preceded in death by his father John P. Calverley and his brother: John O. Calverley.

Bruce will be lovingly remembered by his three children: Amber of Saginaw; Heather of Minneapolis; and Cory of Barnum; their mother: Carmen Fey of Esko; his mother: Borgny Calverley Agurkis of Moose Lake; his step mother: Ailie Calverley of Cloquet; seven siblings: Donny (Diane) Calverley of Cambridge; Judy (Ken) Olson of Carlton; Bob (Darla) Calverley of Mahtowa; Carol (Barry) Goodnature of Denham; Dale (Sue) Calverley of Mahtowa; his twin brother: Brian (Bonita) Calverley of Mahtowa; and Brenda (Bruce) Stevens of Barnum; Granddaughter: Ayla Neudahl; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Thursday, September 4, 2014 in Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home, Moose Lake and continue from 10 until the 11 am service on Friday, September 5, 2014 in Salem Lutheran Church, Mahtowa. Burial will be in Mount Salem Cemetery, Mahtowa.
