CAROL Y. BECKER (SPEESE), 70, of Danbury, WI died Friday, March 23, 2012 in Ecumen Assisted Living of North Branch. She was born August 5, 1941 in Cloquet to Eino and Ina (Sundberg) Aho. Carol was united in marriage to Larry Becker on October 3, 1959 in Kettle River. Carol was a former manager of the Carroll Inn of Moose Lake. She loved traveling to Florida, bird watching and socializing with people.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents.

Carol is survived by her companion, Don Zerwas of Danbury; 3 children, Melanie (Tom Miller) Becker of Stanchfield, Dan (Bettejo) Becker of Mason City, IA and Aaron (Carrie) Becker of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren, Wade, Toni, Jena, Alexa, Julya, Calvin and Jake; great grandchildren, Elija, Cynthia and Ariel; 1 sister, Kathy (Bill) Duvall of Tampa, FL; many other family and friends.

A Visitation was Thursday, March 29 from 10 AM until 11 AM in Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home, Moose Lake with a Graveside Service to follow at 11:30 AM in Holy Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Kettle River.
