Carol Busch, 71, Sturgeon Lake, formerly of Moose Lake, died peacefully while surrounded by her family on Friday, March 15, 2013. She was born on November 1, 1941 in Bridgeport, AZ to William and Ruth Whatcott. Carol grew up in Arizona. During her years in Arizona, Carol loved to sing and sang with the Phoenix Valley Opera for many years. On February 3, 1978, Carol married James Busch in San Antonio, TX. In 1981, Carol moved to Moose Lake. She was a pillar of love and support to her family and friends. She always enjoyed entertaining and was known for her Fourth of July Celebrations over the years. Carol was a Vikings fan and also enjoyed watching tennis and golf on TV unless Wheel of Fortune was on.
She was preceded in death by her husband: James Busch and her son: Joe Busch.
Carol will be lovingly remembered by her son: Rob Busch; her daughter: Jackie Craven-Busch; two sisters: Lorna (Craig) Davis and Linda Standage; two brothers: Bert (Jean) Whatcott and John Whatcott; five grandchildren: Nicole, Joey, R'Jay, Haley, and Makena; and her great granddaughter: Brooklyn; many nieces and nephews.
