Charles E. Erickson
Charles E. Erickson, 74, Sturgeon Lake, died Tuesday, March 6, 2012 in Mesa, AZ where Charles wintered for many years.
He was born on March 30, 1937, in Black River Falls, WI to Ray and Myrtle Erickson. Charles served in the United States Air Force from 1955 until 1978. He married Sandra Roe in Superior, WI on December 31, 1962. Charles received his Bachelor's Degree in Political Science at the University of MN-Duluth, his Master's Degree at Auburn University in Montgomery, AL, and his Juris Doctor (Law) Degree at the Catholic University of America in Washington D.C. Charles worked as an Air Force Lawyer and later worked for Honeywell in Hopkins, MN as a Government Contracts Attorney. During his retirement years, Charles served at the President of the Windemere Lake and Landowners Association and also served as the President of the Mesa East Property Owners Assoication.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra in 2011; his parents, one brother Donald Erickson of New Brighton, two sisters Cynthia Quinn of Tomah, WI and Helen Lewis of West Salem, WI.
Charles will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Vicky Erickson of Minneapolis; his granddaughter, Alana Erickson of Minneapolis; and two siblings: Dorothy Prell of Sparta, WI and James Erickson of Balsam Lake, WI.
Private Family inurnment will take place in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.
