Charles A. Peterson, 66, of Barnum, died Sunday, January 15, 2012 at his home. He was born on January 4, 1946 in Carlton to Harry and Madelyn (Hastings) Peterson. Charles was a Veteran of The United States Army, serving in the Vietnam War. Charles was formerly employed by Hedberg Landscaping of Plymouth and was also a mechanic. His hobbies included collecting cars and lapidary work.

Charles is preceded in death by his father, Harry Peterson.

Charles is survived by his mother, Madelyn Peterson of Moose Lake; sister, Lorna (Ron) Thiel of Seatlle, WA; nephew, Joel (Allison) Thiel and their son, Joshua.
