Chivon M. Palmer, 46, Barnum, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, July 31, 2026 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. She was born on October 27, 1979 in Duluth. Chivon grew up in Moose Lake and attended Moose Lake High School graduating in 1998. On August 22, 2020, Chivon married Dwayne Palmer in Barnum. She worked at Walmart in Asset Protection, MSOP as a security lead, and at Safe Transitions in Barnum. She loved bowling, golf, reading, and watching Jeopardy and other game shows.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Barry and Marlene Anderson and a sister: Chantel Anderson.

Chivon will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Dwayne; son: Devlin Anderson; two siblings: Dinel (Lance) Hollerbach and Kalen Anderson; and friends.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2026 from 1 – 5 pm at Barnum Community Center.
