Chloe Kay
Gamst
September 22, 2001 – July 15, 2023
Chloe Kay Gamst, 21, Sturgeon Lake, will always be remembered for her courage during the difficult times. Unfortunately, this time the pain was too difficult and she died unexpectedly as she lost her battle with mental health on Saturday, July 15, 2023. She was born on September 22, 2001 in Fridley to Seth and Chrissy (Cronin) Gamst. She lived in Sturgeon Lake and attended Moose Lake High School where she graduated in 2020. Chloe recently graduated from Lake Superior College and proudly began her welding career at Altec in Duluth. She loved art, hockey, surfing, walks with her dog, Kenai, and Halloween. Chloe had a special connection with the beaches on Park Point and the sunsets in Canal Park. She always stuck up for the underdog and had a great passion for being a helper and giver to whomever needed someone or something. Chloe continued this giving after her death by being an organ and tissue donor as she will help others in the future with the gifts she gave.
Chloe was a fierce supporter for those hurting or struggling. Her family really encourages anyone who is struggling with their mental health to reach out and make the call to the 988 Suicide and Crisis Line. For those knowing someone who is struggling, be there for them. Encourage them to seek help. Everyone can do their part to help bring awareness to this serious issue facing our families and friends.
Chloe is preceded in death by her grandparents: John and Diane Gamst.
She will be lovingly remembered by her parents: Seth and Chrissy Gamst; brother: Everett; boyfriend: Dan Leino; grandparents: LeRoy (Rocky) Cronin and Mary Cronin; Aunts: Corrine (Dan) Hobbs and Chelsea (Jason) Shank; Uncles: Justin Gamst and Nick (Katie) Gamst; Cousins: Kalie, Kaleb, Erin, Evan, Eva, Lilly, Taylor "T-Rex", Dawsyn, and Goddaughter: Lily; Great Aunt: Donna (Mike) Cronin; Godparents: Gil (Candy) Gamst; numerous other beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; and her beloved dog, Kenai.
A Memorial Visitation will be from 2-4 pm on Friday, July 21, 2023 followed by a service at 4 pm in Hope Lutheran Church, Moose Lake. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Blomskog Cemetery, Windemere Twp. In Chloe's honor, please remember to help that underdog, give some time to someone in need, always be there for anyone who is struggling and remember to keep Chloe's story going by sharing the wonderful memories about her to those that loved her dearly. Blessed be the memory of Chloe Kay Gamst.
Arrangements by Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home, Moose Lake.
