Cindy Musta

Cindy Musta, 60, Sturgeon Lake, formerly of Mora, died Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at St. Luke's Hospital, Duluth.  She was born in St. Paul on August 4, 1957 to Donald and Joanne Tasler.  Cindy grew up in the Forest Lake area where she graduated from Forest Lake High School in 1975.  Cindy lived in Mora where she worked as a PCA in Home Health Care including several years at Volunteers of America.  She later retired and moved to Sturgeon Lake.  Cindy loved spending time with her family and grandkids, helping others, cooking, baking, and reading.

She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Tasler and grandma, Izetta Lee.

Cindy will be remembered by her significant other, Fred Snelson of Sturgeon Lake; four children: Cory (Dawn) Tasler of Askov; Jessie Schultz of Isanti; Keri (Shayne) Bumann of McGrath; and Jacob Musta of Mora; her mom: Joanne Tasler of Willow River; brother: Donald R. Tasler of Hinckley; sister: Cheryl (Randy) Starbird of Willow River; 6 grandchildren; a niece; a nephew, and many friends.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, March 16, 2018 starting at 10 AM with the Celebration of the Life of Our Loved One following at 11 AM at Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home, Moose Lake.   A Gathering of Family and Friends will follow with the location to be announced at the service.  To Honor Cindy's Life, we ask that you enjoy reading a good book and take some time to do something special to help someone in her memory.
