Clair Layton Anderson, 76, of Moose Lake, died Thursday, July 21, 2011 in Pine Ridge Willow Home, Moose Lake. He was born June 14, 1935 in Moose Lake to Newell and Christine (Thoen) Anderson. Clair attended school in Moose Lake until the 3rd grade. On July 6, 1988, Clair moved from the Moose Lake State Hospital to Pine Ridge Willow Home, Moose Lake where he was one of the original members.
Clair attended Pinewood-Cloquet and later attended Moose Tracks of Moose Lake. He enjoyed playing rummy, solitaire, bingo and also doing puzzles. Clair was a former participant in the Special Olympics.

Clair is preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Luverne and Dale; 1 sister, Arlene Snyder.

Clair is survived by 1 brother, Dewey (Dianne) Anderson of Moose Lake; 3 sisters, Elaine (Dick) Woodruff of Cape May, NJ, Jan Berglund of Solon Springs, WI and Sonja (Dick) Grahn of Spring, TX; many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was on Saturday, July 23, from 10 AM until the 11 AM Service in Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home, Moose Lake. Interment was in Riverside Cemetery, Moose Lake.
