Dale Thomas Pedersen, 57, Sturgeon Lake, died Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at his sister, Ginger's house surrounded with love while battling pancreatic cancer.  He fought a very hard fight against cancer all the way to the end.  He was born on December 19, 1965 in Forest Lake to Dale and Sandra Pedersen.  Dale worked as a groundskeeper and laborer most of his life.  He had a true passion for tinkering with things and had the ability to make things out of nothing.  Dale loved to dig holes and was a very good cook and baker.  He had worked at the Radisson in Duluth and would often tell people about his experiences there. He liked to garden, can vegetables, grilling out, fishing, and camping at Chipmunk Park where he was often told to tone down the fires he would build! Dale was a very private person but was kind and loving to everyone he met.  He loved animals and had a very kind heart.  Dale's greatest passion was his children and grandchildren whom he loved to spend time with.

He was preceded in death by his mother: Sandy; father: Dale; brother: Jason; and grandchild: Baby Paulson.

Dale will be remembered by son: John Pedersen of Willow River; two daughters: Tiffany Bollin (Dan Paulson) of Cokato and Kristin Pedersen of Minneapolis; sister: Ginger Jensen (Scott Sandberg) of Barnum; brother: Scott (Lori) Pedersen of Willow River; grandchildren: Peyton, Skylar, Kamaren, Landen, Jason, Jayde, Jackson, Jase, Kolton, Bailey, Sophie, Brooklyn, and Gracie; nieces and nephew: Amber, Chrissy, Casey, Ashlee, and Abigale; and many friends that loved him.

A Private Family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
