Dale Victor Wold

Dale Victor Wold, 56, Moose Lake, died Sunday, July 3, 2011 in his home. He was born on November 18, 1954 in St. Paul to Victor and Lucille Wold. Dale graduated from Coon Rapids Senior High School in 1973. He went on to complete his Associates Degree at Christ for the Nations Institute in 1979.
Dale resided in Colorado Springs from 1979 – 2008 before returning to the Moose Lake area. During his years in Colorado, he attended truck driving school and got his CDL license. Dale drove for Pioneer Sand Co., worked for Foxworth Galbraith Lumber Co., was self employed as maintenance sub-contractor, and also worked for Sunwest Communications and Century Communications as a lineman and technician respectively.
Dale enjoyed traveling, camping, and fishing. He was active in his church community and his entrepreneurial spirit led him into various enterprises including a paintball course and resale of furniture among some of them.

Dale is survived by his children: Brandon (Noelle) Wold of Morgantown, West Virginia and Michelle Wold of Woodland Park, Colorado; his parents: Victor & Lucille Wold; 2 sisters: Geraldine Hart and Jean (Dennis) Vansteenkiste; 2 brothers: Darrell (Delores) Wold and David Wold all of Moose Lake; a special friend: Cynthia Bergstedt of Cloquet; and other relatives and friends.

Dale will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2011 from 1:00 until the 2:00 PM Memorial Service in Family Worship Church, Moose Lake. Pastor John D. Venzke will officiate. Memorials are preferred.
