Darrell was preceded in death by his parents; Henry and Lena; sister: Donna; twin sister: Darlene; brothers: David and Gordon; brothers-in-law: Lee and David; grandparents and several other friends and family.

He is survived by several siblings: Bob (Judy), Jim (Sandy), Debbie, LeRoy (Terri), Dale, Joy, Ruth (Stan), and Bill (Deb); several nieces and nephews; aunts: Bev and Toni; and several cousins.
