Debra Mary Hekrdle, 64, Finlayson, died unexpectedly on Saturday, May 15, 2021 in Essentia Health Sandstone. She was born in Cavalier, ND to Clem and Viola Enderle. Deb attended Fargo North High School. She lived in the Twin Cities and worked in restaurant management and bartending jobs through the years. In 1994, Deb married Floyd Hekrdle. She continued to work in the Twin Cities and moved up north to be with Floyd in 1996. Deb worked at Petry's and later East Central School. For the last ten years, Deb worked at the Hinckley Finlayson School as head cook where she loved her job. She was planning on retiring this month. Deb loved to garden, attend tractor shows, attend the State Fair, going for motorcycle rides. Most importantly, Deb loved her family. She was a very caring, giving individual whom was an amazing family woman. Deb will truly be missed.

She was preceded in death by four siblings: Art Enderle, Dennis Enderle, Sue Reimer, and Kathy Burger.

Deb will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 26 years, Floyd; son: Tony Olson; daughter: Casey Matthews; grandson: Patrick Hammel; granddaughter: Mary Matthews; grandson: Nick Hekrdle; and three great grandchildren: Austin, Aiden, and Aaron Hekrdle; three siblings: Paul Enderle, Theresa Zimmer, and Matthew Enderle; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

A memorial visitation will be from 2-4 PM on Monday, May 24, 2021 in Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home, Moose Lake. At 4 pm we will go into procession to Lakeview Cemetery in Rutledge for a graveside service. If you plan on joining us at the cemetery, please plan to be there at about 4:20 PM.
