DeeAnn Jean Sheppard, 59, of Brighton, CO, died Thursday, July 15, 2010 in Sturgeon Lake. She was born January 25, 1951 in Moose Lake to Donald and Venice (Mader) Cluett. DeeAnn loved horses. She owned and trained an 8 time world champion Morgan Horse. DeeAnn also played the piano and accordion.

DeeAnn is preceded in death by her father, Donald Cluett.

DeeAnn is survived by her husband Steven Sheppard of Denver, CO; mother, Venice Cluett of Sturgeon Lake; daughter, Clover Rasmussen of Santa Cruz, CA; 2 sons, Todd (Nikki) Sheppard of Thornton, CO and Steven Sheppard, Jr. of Sacramento, CA; grandchildren, Morgan Duxbury, Malia Morris, Zach Alex, Nolan and Jackson Sheppard; brother, Don (Veronica) Cluett of Parker, CO; nieces, Leah (Joe) Jarvis and Sarah (Harold) Torres and their children, Elijah and Payton.

A gathering of family and friends was on Monday, July 19, from 10 AM until the 11 AM Memorial Service in Oak Lake Lutheran Church, Kerrick. Inurnment was Oak Lake Community Cemetery.
