Donald Joseph Klejeski, 60, Barnum, died Monday, May 16, 2022 in Moose Lake Village.  He was born on August 26, 1961 in Sandstone, MN to John and Rose (Kwapick) Klejeski.  Donald grew up in Barnum attending Barnum High School where he graduated in 1980.  He later attended Duluth Vo-Tech for Forest Harvesting.  Donald worked for the DNR, Eggen's Tree Service, Ande-Licious Eggs, Schwan's, and various dairy farmers in the area.  He was a caretaker of his parent's for many years on the family farm west of Barnum.  Donald loved the outdoors, exotic animal sales, fishing, playing cards, cooking, and horse pulling contests.  He was preceded in death by his parents: John (1990) and Rose (2002) Klejeski; brother: Edward in 1951; and his sister-in-law: Beth Klejeski in 2020.

Donald is survived by six siblings: Bernard of Ogilvie; Frank (Lois) of Moose Lake; Barb (Tom) Lambert of Mahtowa; Leonard (Debbie) of Sturgeon Lake; Tony (Sue) of East Bethel; and Daniel (Lisa) of St. Cloud; 4 Godchildren: Joe Lambert, Riata Klejeski, Sam Klejeski, and Katie Newman; 24 nieces and nephews; 44 great nieces and nephews; and 1 great great niece.

Visitation will be from 7-9 pm with a Rosary at 8:30 pm on Thursday, May 19, 2020 in Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home, Moose Lake.  Visitation will continue on Friday, May 20 from 10 am until the 11 am Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Catholic Chapel in Split Rock Twp.  Burial will be in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Split Rock Twp.
