Donald Martin Negaard, 90, of Blackhoof Township, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2016 in Augustana Mercy Health Care, Moose Lake.  Donald was born August 5, 1926 in Duluth to Ole and Olga Negaard.  Donald proudly served in The United States Navy during WWII.  Donald was an electrician and also owned a well drilling business, drilling hundreds of wells around the country.    Donald loved horses and raised Quarter Horses for many years.  He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, photographing the wildlife and his cats and dog.  Donald will be missed by his Blackhoof friends and neighbors.


Military Honors will be held Monday, December 5 at Noon in Oneota Cemetery, Duluth.
