Donald S. Zywicki, 78, of Prior Lake, died Thursday, May 16, 2013 at his home. He was born May 3, 1935 to Benjamin and Mary (Kiminski) Zywicki in Willow River. He grew up in Moose Lake Township and graduated from Moose Lake High School in 1955. Donald served in the United States Army stationed in Korea and married his high school sweetheart, Judy Sarvela. Don attended the Minnesota School of Business in Data Processing and was a Computer Systems Analyst for the State of Minnesota. Don enjoyed traveling, especially to Yellowstone National Park. He loved hunting in the Black Hills, Boundary Waters and Moose Lake area. He was an avid Vikings and Lynx fan and had a great sense of humor.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents; son, Dale, brothers, Ambrose and Ernest; sisters, Blanche Vanneste, Louise Balut and Evelyn Weiher.
Donald is survived by his wife, Judy; son, Darrell, daughter, Deborah (Rick) Montreuil; daughter-in-law, Jacqueline Zywicki; sister, Florence Jesberg; brother-in-law, Glen Weiher. Loving grandpa to Zachary and Hannah Montreuil and Jacob and Micah Zywicki. Also, many nieces, nephews and special friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 22, from 10 AM until the 11 AM Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Angels Catholic Church, Moose Lake. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery, Moose Lake.
