Doris Anne Head, 82, of Moose Lake, died Tuesday, March 29,2011 in Augustana Mercy Care Center, Moose Lake. She was born March 18, 1929 in Sedalia, MO to Clovis and Gladys Michael. Doris was a graduate of Missouri University. Doris was employed at H & R Block's corporate office in Kansas City, MO. Doris was united in marriage to James Head on June 29, 1952 in Columbia, MO. Doris and James started J.W. Head Accounting in Moose Lake. Doris was an avid walker and a member of Sonshine Walkers as well as a volunteer at Sonshine Closet of Moose Lake. Doris was a member of Evangelical Covenant Church, Moose Lake as well as Head Usher.

Doris is preceded in death by her husband, James; son, James, Jr.; 1 sister, Donnis Jackson and her parents.

Doris is survived by 1 daughter, Charlotte (Craig) Gordon of Wentzville, MO and 2 grandchildren, Clifton and Clayton.
