Dorothy Ann Hyska, 90, of Willow River passed away Saturday, September 5, 2015 in Mercy Hospital, Moose Lake. She was born October 29, 1924 in Willow River to Roland and Blanche (Mecl) Sheforgen. Dorothy was united in marriage to Walter Hyska on July 11, 1945 in Willow River. Dorothy was a nurses Aid at Mercy Health Care Center for many years as well as working on the family farm. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Willow River as well as the C.C.W.. Dorothy enjoyed sewing, crocheting, reading, cooking, baking, gardening, spending time outdoors and loved company and going to community events. Dorothy especially enjoyed spending time with her grandkids.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband Walter; her parents; an infant son; sister, Gertrude Oetterer; brothers, Rolland and Robert Sheforgen.

Dorothy is survived by 4 children, Roger (Linda) Hyska of Willow River, Kenny Hyska of Clarksville, TN, Dianne Alleman of Cloquet and Judy Eaton of Moose Lake; grandchildren, Neil Hyska, Amy (Joe) Skluzacek, April (Chad) Hennager, Laura (Todd) Tomlynson and Jodi Young; great grandchildren, Lacey and Hunter Skluzacek, Preston, Peyton and Paige Hennager; 3 sisters-in-law, Donna Sheforgen, Jane Sheforgen and LaVerne Hyska; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, September 11, from 10 AM until the 11 AM Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Willow River.
