Duane Dennis Krajewski, 74, of Sturgeon Lake, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family and puppies after a five-year battle with cancer.  He was born May 25, 1943 in Sandstone to Walter and Helen (Klick) Krajewski.  Duane graduated from Moose Lake High School in 1961.  Following high school, Duane joined the United States Army where he served his country during the Vietnam War from 1965-1967.  Duane was united in marriage to Sandra Zaspel on December 16, 1977 in Watertown, SD.  Duane was employed by Sebald's Ford in Askov from 1979-1990 when he opened Krajewski Auto Repair in Sturgeon Lake.  Duane enjoyed fishing and hunting and especially his 1937 Willys.

Duane is preceded in death by his parents.

Duane is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Sandy Krajewski of Sturgeon Lake; son, Edward (Brittany) Krajewski of Sturgeon Lake, formerly of Appleton; daughter, Simone Moss of Carthage, MO; grandchildren, Steven Krajewski of Carlton, RaeAnne Krajewski of Sturgeon Lake, Jamie Moss of Carthage, MO; sister, Patty Whipple of Newberry, SC; brother, Jake Krajewski of Sturgeon Lake; many nieces, nephews and friends.

To honor Duane's wishes, there will be no services.  Private family inurnment will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.
