Edith S. Hedin
Edith S. Hedin, 94, Cromwell, died peacefully on Saturday, August 15, 2015 in Cardinal Court Assisted Living. She was born on April 3, 1921 in Kalevala Twp. to Frank and Dora Seppanen. Edith attended school in rural Kettle River and later in Cromwell graduating in 1939. She married Arne Hedin and they resided in Duluth where Edith worked at St. Luke's Hospital, Maurices, and Target. They later lived in Cromwell and Kettle River. Edith lived the past years in Cardinal Court in Cromwell. She enjoyed needlework.
Edith was preceded in death by her husband, Arne; 8 siblings; and her parents.
She will be lovingly remembered by her three children: Elwood (Avis) Hedin of Carlton; Dennis (Lorraine) Hedin of Duluth; and Doris (Stan) Greene of Greenville, SC; 7 Grandchildren; 12 Great Grandchildren; 2 Great Great Grandchildren; and her extended family of staff and residents at Cardinal Court. The family would like to thank the staff at Cardinal Court for their excellent care over the years.
No services are being held and inurnment will be in Leonard Cemetery, Kalevala Twp.
