Edna E. Koch

Edna E. Koch, 95, Carlton, MN, formerly of Sauk Centre, died Wednesday, March 18, 2009 in Inter-Faith Care Center, Carlton. She was born on May 22, 1913 in Annandale to James and Elizabeth (Warner) Minor. On February 12, 1934, Edna married Al Koch. Edna was a homemaker through the years and spent most of her life on their farm in Sauk Centre. She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and its Christian Mothers and Guild.


Edna was preceded in death by her parents: James & Elizabeth Minor; her husband: Al on January 27, 1989;four sons: Everett Koch, Vernon Koch, Irvin Koch, and Kenneth Koch; her brother: LeRoy Johnson; and her sister: Mildred Adrian.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son and daughter-in-law: Wayne and Bernice Koch of Wrenshall; two grandchildren: Michael (Lisa) Koch and Diana (Marty) Bowers both of Roscoe, IL; four great grandchildren; and a sister-in-law: Bernice Johnson of Sauk Centre.

Visitation was held from 10 AM until the 11 AM Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, March 24, 2009 in St. Paul's Catholic Church, Sauk Centre. Father Todd Schneider was the celebrant. Casket Bearers were Michael Koch, Marty Bowers, Kenneth Gamradt, Butch Wessel, Dan Hansen, and Ron Krick. Burial was in St. Paul's Catholic Cemetery, Sauk Centre.
