Edna Bernice Skallman, 82, of Cromwell, died Friday, November 16, 2012 in Community Memorial Hospital of Cloquet. She was born April 20, 1930 in Menahga to Frederic and Anna Sophia (Lahtinen) Nelson. Edna was united in marriage to Doyle Skallman on August 26, 1952 in Grand Rapids.

Edna is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Doyle; 4 brothers; 6 sisters.

Edna is survived by her children, Curtis (Nancy) Skallman, Cindy (Al) Nelson, Warren Skallman, Leon Zobel and Mike (Joan) Skallman; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Florence Duffield.

Edna's children would like to thank the staff at Community Memorial Hospital of Cloquet and Villa Vista Care Center of Cromwell for the outstanding care and comfort they generously provided our Mother.
