Ed Priem, 69, Cromwell, died peacefully on Friday, October 29, 2021 at his home with his loving family by his side as they cared for him so well during his final days.  He was born in Superior to Melvin and Violet Priem and grew up in Bellechester, MN.  Ed moved to Michigan where he attained his journeyman schooling to become an Iron Worker for Local 25.  He worked as a boomer all over the United States constructing many projects including Animal Kingdom at Disney World.  He later lived in the Cromwell/Wright area.  On April 27, 1984, Ed married Linda Ackert in Carlton.  Ed was a wonderful husband, dad, and grandpa.  He was incredibly handy and continually built many things including woodworking crafts.  Ed loved to hunt and fish.  He will be truly missed.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents: Mel and Vi Priem; two brothers: Charlie Priem and Rick Priem; and two grandchildren: Alec and Caleb.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 37 years, Linda; daughter: Michelle (Dan) Goutermont; son: Daniel Taber; five grandchildren:  Codi, Tyler, Danny, Wyatt, Logan and his mother: Cher Nash; three siblings: Alan Priem; Marty (Kim) Priem; and Renee (Rick) Dodge; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Private family services will be held during a spring inurnment service in Eagle Lake Cemetery, Cromwell.  Arrangements by locally owned and operated: Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home, Moose Lake.
