Eileen Patricia "Pat" Misukanis passed away peacefully at Moose Lake Village on Wednesday, June 29 2022.  Pat was born January 8, 1939 to Glenn and Vera Olson in Sturgeon Lake, MN.

Pat grew up in Sturgeon Lake and attended school there and then in Willow River, graduating from WRHS in 1956.  She began working in Duluth where she met her husband, Jim Sette.  They married in 1961 and lived in Helena, Montana where her daughter Elizabeth was born and later in Bismarck, ND.  Pat moved back to Sturgeon Lake in 1964.  She worked for the MN Dept of Corrections at the Willow River Camp from 1966 and then at the Moose Lake facility beginning in 1988 until her retirement in 1995.  Pat married Stanley Misukanis in Moose Lake, MN August 18, 1979.  They lived at their home on Sturgeon Lake until they moved to Moose Lake in 2008.  Pat and Stan traveled a bit and enjoyed lake living, fishing and pontooning.  Pat bowled for the Sturgeon Lake State Bank bowling team for many years.  She was a devoted member of Moose Lake United Methodist Church and an active member of the UMW there.  Her sewing and embroidery were beautiful.  Pat also made braided woven rugs, and made the best donuts ever!  She enjoyed being a 'Grammy' very much, and became a great-grandma in 2011.  Pat loved her family and her friends and was an active volunteer at the Moose Lake Area Food Shelf and the Sunshine Closet in her years after retirement.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Glenn Olson in 2008; and her husband Stan in 2012.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Liz and Ron Greski of Sturgeon Lake; grandchildren Briana (Bill) Duffield of San Diego, CA; Rachel Smith (Mike St. John) of Hermantown, MN; great-grandchildren: Mason and Aria; sister-in-law: Sue Olson of Edina; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, and many friends.

Our family thanks the staff at Oakview and Augustana Care in the Moose Lake Village, and St. Croix Hospice for their tender care of Pat.

Services will be Tuesday July 5, 2022 at the Moose Lake United Methodist Church.  Visitation will take place at 10 am and the memorial service at 11 am.  Inurnment will be immediately following in the Sturgeon Lake Cemetery.
