Elaine A. Reger, 87, Finlayson, died peacefully while surrounded by her family on Friday, June 30, 2023 in Moose Lake Village.  She was born on May 30, 1936 in Wyndmere, ND to Hans Peter and Hannah Haurum.  Elaine married William Reger on June 27, 1959.  They lived in Brooklyn Center where Elaine worked as a cook for an elementary school and at the St. Therese Nursing Home.  Elaine later moved to Finlayson with her son, Ronald.  Elaine enjoyed weekends at Lake Lida, watching the wildlife and birds, and road trip vacations to anywhere!  She loved her Catholic Faith and knew she would reunite with Bill someday.

Elaine was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; parents: Hans Peter and Hannah Haurum; a brother: Sonny; and sister: Marianne Olson

Elaine is survived by two sons: Donald (Debbie) Reger and Ronld Reger; two granddaughters: Ashly (Mark) and Chelsea (Luke); two great grandchildren: Kaia and Kyle; sister: Leona Olson; brother-in-law: Richard (Carol); sister-in-law: Patricia; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1-5pm on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at the Rutledge Community Center.
