Eunice Leone (Osborne) Olson, 97, of Moose Lake, MN passed away on February 2, 2024. She was born to Edward and Hilma Osborne in Mahtowa, MN on April 7, 1926. Eunice grew up on a farm in Mahtowa and was a graduate of Barnum High School. On July 2, 1949, she was united in marriage to Melvin L Olson. Together they raised three children: Gale, Dean, and Gary in Robbinsdale, MN.
Eunice was a bookkeeper for the local Creamery until she and Melvin relocated to Minneapolis. She was employed by Honeywell and later became a homemaker raising her family. Eunice had many skills but was especially talented as a seamstress.
Over the years Eunice and Melvin enjoyed summers in the Moose Lake region with extended family, followed by permanent residency upon retirement. Eunice and Melvin were passionate about antiques and collectibles dating back to the 1970s.
Eunice is preceded in death by her husband Melvin and granddaughter Hannah, as well as all five of her siblings.
Eunice will be deeply missed by her sons Dean (Corrine), Gary (Kathy) and daughter Gale (Mike). Grandchildren Derek, Tyler, Haley, and Hilary. As well as, three great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
