Eva Watts

Eva Watts, 98, Moose Lake, died Monday, June 30, 2014 in Oakview Assisted Living, Moose Lake. Mrs. Watts was born on October 5, 1915 in London, England to Edward and Rachael George. She was trained as a State Registered Nurse in Westminster Hospital. Mrs. Watts married Harold Watts in England. In 1963, they moved to Minneapolis and later lived in New Mexico. They moved to Moose Lake in 1980. Mrs. Watts worked as a playground supervisor at Moose Lake School. She was a member of the St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Moose Lake. Mrs. Watts loved taking care of her garden and also had a great love for music. She sang for the Autumn Voices for several years. Mrs. Watts also volunteered at the Moose Lake Food Shelf and for Meals on Wheels.

Mrs. Watts is preceded in death by her husband, Harold; son: Christopher; three sisters; and two half-brothers.

She will be remembered by her son: Francis (Jackie) Watts of England; daughter: Susan Watts of Canada; four grandchildren: Sarah, Catherine, Melissa, and Meghann; and several great grandchildren;

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 1:00 PM until the 2:00 PM Memorial Service on Monday, July 14, 2014 in St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Moose Lake.
