Florence Biederman, 86, of Willow River, died January 17, 2009 in Pine Medical Health Care Center, Sandstone. She was born September 4, 1922 in Denham to Joseph and Mary Povlock. Florence moved to Minneapolis where she was united in marriage to Emil Biederman. Florence and Emil were born on the exact same day. Florence and Emil farmed near Denham for many years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Willow River and enjoyed gardening and cooking.

Florence is preceded in death by her parents; 1 brother, Ted Povlock.

Florence is survived by her husband, Emil of Willow River; 2 sisters, Rosemary and Eleanor; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was on Thursday, January 22, from 10 AM until 11 AM in St. Marys Center, Willow River. A Mass of Christian Burial followed at 11 AM in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Willow River with Father Timothy Deutsch as the celebrant.
