Frank A. Ouradnik, 99, of Moose Lake, passed away Friday, November 1, 2013 in Oakview Assisted Living, Moose Lake. He was born July 13, 1914 in Mission Creek Township to Louis and Mary (Kub) Ouradnik. Frank is a WWII Army Veteran, serving from 1943-1946. Frank was united in marriage to Viola Dockan on December 13, 1969 in St. Paul. Frank was a teacher at Willow River School as well as a U.S. Small Business Administration Loan Officer. He was a member of the American Legion, V.F.W., Lions Club of Pine City and NARFE.
Frank is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Helen Mary Johnson; brothers, Alois, Edward, Joseph and infant brother, Paul.
Frank is survived by his loving wife, Viola K. Ouradnik of Moose Lake; step-daughter, Karen (Don) Nelson of Sturgeon Lake; 4 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 5, from 5-7 PM with a Rosary service at 7 PM in Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home, Moose Lake.
A Requiem Mass of the Dead and Burial will be held Wednesday, November 6 at 11 AM in Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home, Moose Lake with Father Thomas Mroczka as the celebrant. Interment will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Willow River.
