Gerald "Jiggs" Francis Little, 82, of Barnum, passed away, Wednesday, January 21, 2015 in Solvay Hospice House, Duluth. He was born February 26, 1932 in Barnum to Robert and Mildred (Smith) Little. Gerald was a Veteran of The United States Marine Corps who served during the Korean War. Gerald was united in marriage to Norma Puntila on July 23, 1956 in Fort Dodge, IA. Gerald worked at USG in Cloquet for 47 years until retiring. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Gerald was a huge fan of his kids and grandkids and would attend all of their sporting events.

Gerald is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Lloyd, Lowell, Robert, Ronald, and William Little; sisters, Genevieve Jage and Marjorie Kavanaugh.

Gerald is survived by his loving wife, Norma Little; 3 sons, Scott (Kim) Little of Golden, CO, Kerry (Terri) Little of Zimmerman and Thomas (Lora) Little of Duluth; 1 daughter, Jeanne (Mark) Dugas of Silver Bay; 8 grandchildren, David, Patrick, Nathan, Alicia, Adam, Bradley, Allen and Nicole; sisters-in-law, Lois Little of Barnum and Peggy Little of Little Fork; many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 27, from 10 AM until the 11 AM Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Angels Catholic Church, Moose Lake. Military Honors provided by Moose Lake American Legion Post #379. Graveside Services will be Wednesday, January 28, at 11 AM in Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls.
