Gladys M. Filtz, 85, formerly of Denham, died Saturday, September 18, 2010 in Ecumen Assisted Living, Brooklyn Center. She was born November 18, 1924 in Trumbull, NE to Walter and Elsie (Britton) Dahl. Gladys was united in marriage to John Filtz on July 16, 1941 in Denham. Gladys enjoyed her church work and needle point. She was a member of the Denham Homemakers Club, the Rutledge Community Church and the Denham Neighborhood Church.

Gladys is preceded in death by her husband, John; parents; sister, Louise Anderson.

Gladys is survived by 2 daughters, Dorothy Filtz of Maple Grove and Wilma (Russell) Vetsch of Ham Lake; 2 grandchildren, Curtis (Caroline) Vetsch of Isanti and Darren (Lisa) Vetsch of Eau Claire, WI; 4 grandchildren, Dyllon Vetsch, Rebecca Vetsch, Heather Plante and Sylvia Plante; 1 sister, Joyce Harrenstein of Hastings, NE; several nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday, October 9, from 10 AM until the 11 AM Memorial Service in Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home, Moose Lake.
