Glenn Harry Johnson was born June 27, 1937 to Edward and Ethel (Swanson) Johnson at the family home in Moose Lake Township, the youngest of 4 children. He peacefully passed away September 3, 2024, at VitaCare Assisted Living in Proctor, MN.
He attended elementary school in Duquette and later attended Moose Lake High School.
On June 16, 1962, he was united in marriage to Ann Bloom. They had 4 children and lived life on the farm. Glenn was an avid trapper over the years as well as logging and farming. He loved all things outdoors, especially taking the kids on the trapline with him and teaching them how to run measure stick when logging. He loved listening to music and watching boxing matches on tv. Elvis and Muhammad Ali were his all-time favorites.
Glenn loved to visit with friends and family and always enjoyed a game of 500. He had many lifelong friends and enjoyed their visits together.
He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings Faye Nowak, Oscar Johnson and Violet Clinton.
Glenn is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ann and children Linda (Kelly) Jusczak, John (Jessica) Johnson, Nancy (William) RIng, Arn Johnson.
He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and special friend, Danny Rogers.
At Glenn's request, there will be no services.
In lieu of flowers or memorials, the family ask that you listen to his favorite song by Elvis, 'Don't'
