Gloria M. Davis, 85, Moose Lake, died peacefully on Saturday, January 16, 2010 at her home. She was born on June 24, 1924 in Truman, MN to Charles and Rose Jones. Gloria grew up in Chicago where she attended John Marshall High School. She later moved to Moose Lake and on September 8, 1946, Gloria married Henry Davis. Gloria worked as an Admission Clerk for the Moose Lake State Hospital. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Moose Lake and involved in the Ruth Circle. Gloria was also very active in Eastern Star when they had a Chapter in Moose Lake. She loved sewing, quilting, baking, reading, and later in life liked listening to audio books on tape.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry in 1998; and a brother: Ronald Jones.

Gloria will be lovingly remembered by her two Daughters: Diana (Dr. Kenneth) Irons of Duluth and Barbara Davis of Moose Lake; a Granddaughter: Deirdra Irons of Minneapolis; a Great Granddaughter: Chloé Irons of Santa Rosa, CA; and a Brother: Don Jones of Donna, TX.
