Gordon Harvey Nyenhuis, born April 1, 1967, died unexpectedly at home on December 18, 2021.  Gordy lived most of his life in Minneapolis and Duluth.  Gordy was a volunteer firefighter, a handyman, a tile guy, and a jack of all trades.  He loved playing pool, fishing, gardening and going for walks.  But most of all, he loved being a dad.  Gordy made snow mansions, ice-skating rinks, held "Camp Nyenhuis" at the farm for the girls and their friends, and was a soccer coach.  His pride and joy was his daughters.

Gordy is preceded in death by his father, Glenn Nyenhuis.

He is survived by his daughters: Kayla and Lauren Nyenhuis; his mother: Yvonne Nyenhuis; his brothers: Eric (Grace) and Troy (Deb) Nyenhuis; special friends: Elliot Woodward and Greg Hansen; and many other friends and family.
