Helen L. Anderson, 102, of the Sturgeon Lake-Willow River area, died Tuesday, October 16, 2012 in Augustana Mercy Health Care Center, Moose Lake. She was born February 7, 1910 in Minneapolis to August and Anna (Anderson) Johnson. Helen loved crocheting, going to the casino and especially spending time with her grandchildren. In her younger years, Helen loved to fish and swim.

Helen is preceded in death by her parents; 1 daughter, Mary Ann DeRungs; 3 sisters; 2 brothers; 5 grandchildren.

Helen is survived by 1 son, Roger (Norma) Anderson of Seabeck, WA; many many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
