Helmi Elsie Esther Maki (nee Warpula) 88, of Beaver Township, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2014 in Augustana Mercy Health Care Center, Moose Lake. To honor Helmi's wishes, she was cremated May 20, 2014.

Helmi was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Maki; brothers, Sulo and Larry Warpula.

Helmi is survived by daughters, Audrey (Harry) Harrison and Karen Maki; sons, Glenn (Karen), Leonard, Thomas and Robert (Lisa); 15 grandchildren (one deceased); 24 great-grandchildren (one deceased); sister Amanda (John) Wojtysiak; brothers, Alvin (Carol) Warpula and Earl (Joyce) Warpula.
