Hunter Jon Langhorst

Hunter Jon Langhorst, 16, Barnum, died Sunday, October 19, 2014.
He was born on August 24, 1998 in Duluth to Jon and Sara Langhorst. Hunter lived in Barnum Twp. where he enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing, trapping, making maple syrup, riding 4 wheeler and snowmobile, bonfires, sauna, listening to country music, and hanging out with his friends. He was a member of the MN Deer Hunters Association and worked as a mentor at the Forkhorn Camps. Hunter also was very passionate about playing for the Barnum Bomber Football Team. He was currently a Sophomore at Barnum High School Class of 2017.


Hunter was preceded in death by his Grandpa: Ferdie Langhorst; three Uncles: Robin Langhorst, Charles Langhorst, and Grant Longsdorf; and his Aunt: Leslie Benson.

He will be lovingly remembered by his Parents: Jon and Sara Langhorst of Barnum; three Sisters: Alexandra, Ashlynn, and Morgan all of Barnum; Grandmother: Shirley Langhorst of Barnum; Grandparents: Lawrence and Beverly Longsdorf of Nickerson; and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, & Friends.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be from 2 until 4 PM Memorial Service on Friday, October 24, 2014 in Barnum High School. Following the Memorial Service, there will be a Time of Sharing of Memories at the school.
