Iva Ann Korhonen, 73, of Kettle River, died Saturday, April 4, 2009 at her home. She was born June 25, 1936, in Isle to John and Alberta (Benning) Buck. Iva graduated from Moose Lake High School in 1954. Iva was united in marriage to Daniel Korhonen on April 13, 1963 in Moose Lake. Iva was a bookkeeper for over 30 years, working for Mel Rudebeck, Roos Motors and the Co-op Store in Kettle River. Iva enjoyed collecting cookbooks and buttons, going to rummage sales, gardening and her pets.

Iva is preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law, Edsel Leino.

Iva is survived by her loving husband, Dan of Kettle River; 2 sons, Steven Korhonen of Kettle River and Paul Korhonen of Kettle River; 1 brother, John "Jack" (Margaret) Buck of Moose Lake; 1 sister, Maxine Leino of Kettle River; 3 grandchildren, Joe, Melissa and Zachary Korhonen; many nieces and nephews.
