Jan Asperheim

Jan Asperheim, 76, Barnum, died peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Thursday, April 10, 2014. She married Dan Asperheim on May 25, 1963. Jan was a wonderful mother and homemaker whom farmed with her family through the years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, a brother, a son, and a granddaughter.

Jan will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 50 years, Dan; three sons: Bruce (Jo) Asperheim of Duluth; Sam (Phyllis) Asperheim of Mahtowa; and Brian (Kristina) Asperheim of Barnum; 2 daughters: Kim (Bill) Horton of Willow River and Lynn (Jeffrey Oland) Rilea of Holyoke; a cherished friend: Mindy Jacobsen of Barnum; 17 Grandchildren; and 14 Great Grandchildren.

Private family services will be held at Hamlin-Hansen-Kosloski Funeral Home, Moose Lake.
